About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll make a meaningful difference by supporting participants to engage with their local community and achieve their NDIS goals.

Your duties may include:

Supporting participants to attend appointments.
Accompanying participants to cafés, shopping centres, parks, libraries, and community events.
Assisting with grocery shopping and everyday errands.
Supporting recreational activities, hobbies, and social outings.
Encouraging confidence, independence, and social participation.
Providing companionship and meaningful community engagement.
Assisting participants to achieve their individual NDIS goals through person-centred support.

Every participant is unique, making each day rewarding and different.

What You'll Need

An active ABN (or willingness to obtain one).
Australian working rights.
Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current National Police Check.
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You.
A current driver's licence and a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle, as community access support involves transporting participants to appointments and activities.
