Disability Support Worker – Community Access

Discover Nursing Australia is looking for a friendly and reliable female Disability Support Worker to provide 1:1 community access support to a female participant in Seville.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, building genuine connections and supporting a participant to enjoy greater independence.
The Role:
The focus of this role is simple – helping the participant get out, stay connected and enjoy activities that are meaningful to her.
You may support her with:
- Cafés, lunch and social outings.
- Shopping and everyday errands.
- Appointments.
- Walks, parks and local outings.
- Recreational and leisure activities.
- Exploring new interests and activities.
- Building confidence and independence in the community.
We are looking for someone who can make outings feel relaxed, enjoyable and natural while providing safe, reliable and professional support.
About You
The right person will be:
- Friendly, positive and easy to talk to.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Confident and engaging.
- Patient and respectful.
- Comfortable participating in community activities.
- Able to build genuine rapport.
- Encouraging of independence and choice.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
A good personality match with the participant is very important to us.
What You'll Need:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Check.
- First Aid and CPR.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Australian working rights.
- Current driver's licence.
- Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
- ABN or willingness to obtain one.
